Calculator inputs
Our tile, paint and concrete calculators run in your web browser. The measurements and prices you enter are used to calculate your estimate on your device. The current calculator does not send those inputs to a CALQUNIX server or require an account.
Clipboard
When you choose “Copy Estimate”, your browser is asked to copy the estimate to your clipboard. CALQUNIX does not store a separate copy of the estimate.
Contact form and messages
When you contact us, we collect the name, email address, topic and message you choose to provide. We use this information to receive, review and respond to your enquiry, and to address website issues or privacy requests.
Our contact form is provided by Formspree, a third-party service. Form submissions are sent to Formspree for processing and forwarded to the website operator's email inbox. Formspree may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the form. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
Messages may remain in the Formspree account and email inbox until they are no longer needed for handling enquiries or relevant recordkeeping. You may request access to or deletion of your message by using the contact form. We will consider requests under applicable privacy law.
Hosting and technical data
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request information, to deliver the site, protect its services and operate its network. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for its practices.
Analytics and advertising
With your permission, CALQUNIX uses Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand how people use our website and which calculators and pages are useful. Analytics may process page views, approximate location, device and browser information, referral sources and interactions such as scrolling and outbound link clicks. We do not intentionally send your calculator measurements, prices, contact form entries or other directly identifying details to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics is optional. We do not load its tracking script or set its analytics cookies unless you choose Accept analytics. If you choose Reject analytics, the site and calculators remain available without Google Analytics. We store your choice in your browser's local storage so we can remember it. This preference storage is needed to respect your decision.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the control here or in the website footer. If you withdraw consent, we stop further Analytics tracking on this browser and attempt to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies. Previously collected data is not automatically erased by withdrawing consent.
Google processes Analytics data under its own terms and privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information. Analytics data may be processed outside the UK. For privacy requests relating to our use of Analytics, use our contact form.
CALQUNIX does not currently display advertising scripts or require user accounts. If advertising is added, we will review our consent choices and update this notice before activating it.
